When we send the rolls of film to our lab, each image is meticulously scanned to create a high-quality digital file. These files are then securely uploaded online for you to download.

Shooting with us feels less like a session and more like spending time with new friends who just happen to be capturing your portrait. We cherish getting to know our clients, using that connection to collaborate on stunning, authentic images. Even if you’re uneasy in front of the camera, we create a relaxed atmosphere that allows your true self to shine—ensuring exceptional photographs every time.

This is sent to you upon booking your shoot and includes questions designed to help us better understand your preferred shoot type, location, and style.

During this call, we explore the desired look, mood, and location of your shoot. Many clients share photos of potential outfits, which we review together to ensure harmony with the vision. We also discuss suitable backgrounds and ideal settings to bring your concept to life.

We enjoy portrait photography and capturing the beauty of an individual...so no family shoots.  We do occasionally photograph two people together, weather siblings or a couple, and the majority of the images delivered for that shoot will be of the two together...and a few individual shots.

Many shoot will be taken at outdoor locations with lots of light, but we also do a lot of home shoots with indoor window light, or in a doorway, also taking photos in the yard or nearby location.  Another option for indoor images are public buildings like a library, train station, or even a cafe.

Once your shoot is complete, we send out the film to lab in California the next day.  There, the film is developed and then scanned to create digital files.  Our lab sends us those files and we lightly edit before uploading to an online gallery for your download three weeks after your shoot.
